- Settlements are still moving forward, despite all fears, despite critics - noted Adam Bodnar in the "Graffiti" program. The Minister of Justice referred to the case of MP Matecki, against whom he filed a motion to lift his immunity. He added that in his case there are "a number of doubts" regarding money laundering, as well as an interesting "election thread".

In the program "Graffiti", the host Marcin Fijołek asked his guest, Attorney General Adam Bodnar whether the motion to lift Dariusz Matecki's immunity is a signal that the settlements are in "fifth gear"? - It is a signal that the settlements are still moving forward, despite all fears, despite the critics. All these preparatory proceedings have a specific rhythm and in order to maintain it and maintain reliability, they have to last a while - replied Bodnar.

The Minister of Justice, referring to the statement of MP Matecki himself - that the government wanted to exclude him from political life three months before the elections - and commenting on the motion to lift his immunity, stated that it was not about political games, and that there were simply grounds for this.

- As for the argument regarding temporary arrest , please note that so far, in the case of MPs Błaszczak, Morawiecki, Szczucki and Ardanowski, there was no motion for temporary arrest, because the prosecutor's office considered that these cases were documented enough and there was no fear of obstruction or escape, so that the motion was not necessary - explained Bodnar.

- However, in this case, the whole story, the justification for the request to lift the immunity, indicate a number of various doubts regarding the nature of this money laundering procedure and the extraction of money from grants that were granted to organizations with which MP Matecki was associated, and the investigation is of a developing nature - he said.

Adam Bodnar then responded to allegations that the case was political in nature.

- There is always a shadow of politics , because it concerns the Justice Fund , which was controlled by politicians and which was used to use public funds - he assessed.

He added that there is another " interesting electoral thread " in the case, which shows that some of the funds that went to the organization patronized by MP Matecki were to be transferred to the election campaign for several MPs of Sovereign Poland in various regions. The case concerned support for information portals run by Dariusz Matecki.
